greatest numbers in late October and early November.
Occasionally a few weeks later to arrive than Redwing.
The largest single movement is 5 275 west on November 2nd
2006. Peak return movements occur during March, when
flocks have been recorded leaving the area and flying off
high north-east at dusk. |
