| A common migrant in both
migration periods. The main arrival of breeding birds
into the Eakring area, occurs around mid-March, but
migrants move through well into May. The first returning
birds begin to appear in July, but numbers increase
throughout August to produce a peak in September. Numbers
have always been good here, with 2002 being an especially
good year. |
