Timothy Tortrix Aphelia paleana (Hübner, 1793)
Status .....Common in Nottinghamshire but always proved to be scarce to light at Eakring and Sherwood Forest, from where there were only a handful of records. More often than not, it will be disturbed from low vegetation during the day, as was the case of the moth in the lower two photographs, which was netted by members of the Lound Moth Group.
