Grey Birch Aethalura punctulata ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Status .....This moths seems to have a confined distribution in Nottinghamshire, although many records have not been made available to us. It is certainly very common around Sherwood Forest, extending up into Clumber Park as far as the Idle Valley NR. Commonly disturbed from the trunks of trees during daylight hours.
