Bordered Beauty Epione repandaria (Hufnagel, 1767)
Status .....Recorded just once at Eakring, when found dead on a road near Kersall in 2000. In Nottinghamshire, this moth has a widespread distribution, but (apart from the Idle Valley NR) seems to be uncommon based on the records available. The moth in the lower photographs, was caught at the Idle Valley NR near Retford, by members of the Lound Bird Club Moth Group.
