Status .....Common in the south of the UK, but a very rare moth in Nottinghamshire, where it currently has Grade 2 status. Birch Mocha was previously recorded back in August 2005 at Misson Carr, before the one in the lower two photographs was trapped by Martin Warne of the Lound Moth Group in July 2014. In August 2023, I trapped the specimen below, at Misson Carr, which was the first one there since 2005. | ||
