Six Lesser Redpoll were at Eakring Flash this morning, with 40 Teal at Penny Pasture Common. Flocks of Fieldfare were near Eakring Flash and at Tug Bridge Farm, where counts were of 134 and 52 respectively. Two Common Buzzards were distant over Red Hill. | |||

Around 35 Teal were again at Penny Pasture Common, with three Snipe also there. 60 Fieldfare and a single Tree Sparrow were along the Kneesall road (per Robin Brace) | |||

A female Goosander was at Eakring Flash this morning along with 11 Gadwall, but the birds were flushed and flew off. | |||

Three Goosander (including two drakes) were at Eakring Flash this morning, with seven Gadwall. Five Lesser Redpoll were still around the southern-end of the flash. | |||

A drake and two female Goosander were at Eakring Flash briefly this morning with a Common Buzzard in the area. At Eakring Meadows, there were two Jack Snipe and eight Common Snipe, with c25 Teal on the pool at Penny Pasture Common. At the set-aside field on the Kneesall Road, a single Tree Sparrow was with c15 Yellowhammer (per Robin Brace) | |||

At Eakring Flash this morning, three drake and one female Goosander present until they flew off. Four Coot there, were new arrivals since my last visit. | |||

Four male Goosander were at Eakring Flash this morning, with three Teal there. A high area count of 86 Herring Gull, consisted of birds both flying over and leaving the area towards Bilsthorpe Tip. 11 Greenfinch flew north-west over Eakring Flash. |
