June 2nd
A Little Ringed Plover flew south-east over Lound Wood very late evening. Earlier at Eakring Flash, two Spotted Flycatchers were the first of the year, catching insects over the water. (per AC Wardell)
 
June 5th
A pair of Turtle Doves were in the Eakring Flash area this afternoon.
 
June 6th
A Common Buzzard took a near full-grown Lapwing this evening at Penny Pasture Common. Luckily the Buzzard was harrassed by both parents and let go. Also in that area, one Yellow Wagtail and at Eakring Flash, the Grasshopper Warbler was reeling from dusk till darkness.
 
June 13th
The male Grasshopper Warbler still present in vegetation around Eakring Flash.
 
June 17th
23 Sand Martin flew west over Lound Wood at dusk.
 
June 24th
The Grasshopper Warbler was again still at Eakring Flash.
