Oncopsis flavicollis (Linnaeus, 1761)
One of a difficult group of leafhoppers to identify, Oncopsis flavicollis is a common species of Birch. Widely distributed across the UK, yet known from few sites in Nottinghamshire, which has to be down to recorder coverage rather than actual distribution. There are several colour forms, including the distinctive brown/yellow headed form shown.
