Speckled Bush Cricket Leptophyes punctatissima
Crickets and Grasshoppers belong to the order Orthoptera and the current UK list contains around 30 species, including several known migrants/accidentals. Nottinghamshire currently has 15 species on it's list. Speckled Bush Cricket is currently known from just a handful of sites in Nottinghamshire. Adults can be found during August, with the two illustrated being found near Budby South Forest on August 13th 2009 and in a Mapperley garden on August 12th 2007 (lower photographs)
