Small Yellow Underwing Panemeria tenebrata (Scopoli, 1763)
Status .....This small, day-flying moth is usually found at grassy locations such as meadows etc. Most Nottinghamshire records are from the south of the county, but it is quite easy to find at Eakring Meadows NR, Hills and Holes SSSI at Market Warsop and the Idle Valley NR. Seems to be increasing its range in recent years.
Photographed at Hills and Holes SSSI May 2013
Photographed at Eakring Meadows May 2003 and Red Hill May 2005
