Dusky-lemon Sallow Cirrhia gilvago ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) .... Formerly known as Xanthia gilvago
Status .....A rare moth in Nottinghamshire with only a few post-1980 records coming from Nuthall, Newark, Misterton and Sherwood Forest. The one below was trapped by Phil Lee in his garden at Misterton in 2016 and we are once again extremely grateful to Phil, for allowing us to use his photograph to illustrate the species on the website.
