Dark Spectacle Abrostola triplasia (Linnaeus, 1758)
Status .....Fairly widespread over much of Nottinghamshire, but not often encountered. In fact, after almost 20 years recording moths in the county, this is still a species we have never encountered. Thanks go to Phil Cadman for providing the opportunity to photograph the moth below.
