Lilac Beauty Apeira syringaria (Linnaeus, 1758)
Status .....First recorded at Eakring in 2008 and still just one record there in over ten years. The female photographed produced numerous eggs which were all successfully reared and released (like the original female) back in Lound Wood during August 2008. Widespread, but seemingly not common in Nottinghamshire.
