Grey Chi Antitype chi (Linnaeus, 1758)
Status .....Nottinghamshire status unknown, but the lack of recent county records, coupled with no records from any of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust reserves across the county, suggest that it is now a rare moth. There is one record from Sherwood Forest in 1981. The only recent records we know of, have come from suburban Mapperley in 2013 (and again in 2015) and from Bestwood Village in 2015.
Photographed at Mapperley Nottingham, August 2013
