Despite TDP Invertebrate Surveyors and Consultants Ltd perhaps being better known for our invertebrate survey work, our early experience was mostly ornithological and dates back to the early part of the last decade.

Apart from being able to provide our customers with valuable breeding bird surveys, other ornithological surveys are especially important for farmers wishing to obtain grants available from various schemes. Over-wintering population surveys can also be extremely useful in the same way.

TDP Invertebrate Surveyors and Consultants Ltd are also able to conduct more specialist visible migration surveys, plotting the migratory routes used by migrating birds over sites where development is proposed.

In recent years, visible migration surveys have become an almost mandatory requirement towards the successful planning acceptance of wind turbines on high or low level sites.
