Tenthredo temula (Scopoli, 1763)
Sawflies are notoriously difficult to identify and are frequently avoided by many entomologists. There are several other similar species to Tenthredo temula, so correct identification is not always easy. Due to the lack of interest in recording Sawflies locally, there tend to be few modern Nottinghamshire records of most species.
