Tasgius morsitans (Rossi, 1790)
Tasgius morsitans is one of several large, black Rove Beetles with orange coloured legs. Found in a variety of habitats, most recent records have come from the Sherwood Forest area, but there are also records from Spalford Warren (Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust) and St Mary's Garden in Nottingham (Skinner, M.).
