Strophosoma melanogrammum (Forster, 1771)
Probably the most widespread weevil we have encountered and found regularly with a sweep net on most trees in Sherwood Forest, but also commonly at Eakring. It is quite a small species at around 5mm, but a fairly distinctive one.
