Stenus fulvicornis (Stephens, 1833)
Of all the many Rove Beetles, Stenus are the most instantly recognisable in the field, but there are many other species which are only really seperable under a microscope. Grass tussock sampling at Clipstone Old Quarter in late March 2013, provided several Stenus species, including two Stenus fulvicornis.
