Planaphrodes trifasciatus (Fourcroy, 1785)
This subtly marked leafhopper is one of a difficult group to identify. Across the UK, this is a rare species and Planaphrodes trifasciatus had not been recorded from Nottinghamshire before we found this one on Budby South Forest in August 2009.
