Phytocoris pini (Kirschbaum, 1856)
Seemingly not recorded in Nottinghamshire since Sherwood Forest in 1914 and Clumber Park in 1927, Phytocoris pini is one of several, very similarly marked/coloured Phytocoris species. Associated with Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) we beat this example from the lower branches of a Scots Pine at Ransom Wood in August 2017.
