Ischnomera sanguinicollis (Fabricius, 1787)
This is a scarce beetle across southern parts of the UK, but with a few records from north Yorkshire. In Nottinghamshire, this Nationally notable B beetle appears to have been recorded just once in 1899 (source NBN Gateway) but this is probably just due to an under recording of Nottinghamshire coleoptera. This adult was found on foliage at Wellow Park in early June 2011, but there are also records rom Clumber Park in 2004 and Kirton Wood in April 2025. Length 12mm.
