Hylastes ater  |

| This small beetle (5mm) was found under the bark of a small section of felled Pine at Clipstone Old Quarter, part of the Birklands West and Ollerton Corner SSSI which comprises part of the Sherwood Forest NNR. It was found in early April 2009 and is the first record of Hylastes ater since the early 1900's. | ||
