Hylaeus communis (Nylander, 1852)
One of several similar species, this Hylaeus communis was one of several seen around an old wooden post on a disused railway line at Market Warsop in mid-June 2014. Hylaeus Bees are difficult to identify to species level and it is important to note or photograph any facial patterns and markings, to aid identification.
