Hygronoma dimidiata (Gravenhorst, 1806)
A very small but distinctive Rove Beetle, most often found in reed-beds. It occurs widely in Nottinghamshire, even being found at small areas of water such as Eakring Flash. Perhaps easist to find during the Winter months, by peeling back the old leaves from the stems of Bulrush.
