Hemicoelus fulvicornis (Sturm, 1837)
Formerly Anobium fulvicorne, Hemicoelus fulvicornis is a tiny wood boring beetle, with a length of around 4mm. Belonging to the Ptinidae family, which includes Wood Worm and Death-watch Beetles, this is a common species on Oaks. The one photographed, turned up in a sweep net in Sherwood Forest.
