Exapion ulicis (Forster, 1771)
Found commonly on the flowers of Gorse, this very small Weevil is easily overlooked. Even so, it was still surprising that these were the first records for Sherwood Forest NNR in over a century. Will probably be present on every Gorse bush in the county. Length 2.5mm.
