| Demetrias
atricapillus (Linnaeus, 1758) |
||
| A common ground beetle (Carabidae) but we did not find our first until one turned up within a small clump of grass on the bridge at the northern end of Eakring Flash in February 2011, but it is regular in leaf itter, or grass tussock samples. This is a small species, but quite distinctive, spending much of it's time on plants. | ||
