Ctenicera pectinicornis (Linnaeus, 1758)
There appear to be no traceable recent records of this spectacular Click Beetle. It seems that Ctenicera pectinicornis was last seen in Nottinghamshire at Sherwood Forest around about 100 years ago. It is widespread across much of Wales and the western counties of England, becoming much less frequent towards the east.
