Cis villosulus (Marsham, 1802)
One of numerous similarly looking species, which are very difficult to identify, Cis villosulus (formerly known as C. setiger) has not been recorded from Sherwood Forest. The one illustrated, was found under loose bark on some logs we were getting ready to burn at our Market Warsop home in February 2010, which originated from a house in Bakersfield Nottingham.
