Berosus signaticollis (Charpentier, 1825)
One of a difficult group, although there are only five Berosus species in the UK. Berosus signaticollis lives in ponds and slow moving water bodies. Our first record of this beetle was from under a peice of metal on the shoreline of an area of water between Warsop Main Pit Top and Warsop Wood in March 2013. It was later recorded again, from an area of quite deep water at the same site in May 2013.
