Aphodius rufus
A common dung beetle, with very distinct differences between the sexes and great variety in colouration/darker markings amongst males. Females (lower two photographs) are much darker than the males. They appear slightly later than other dung beetles, usually from about mid-July onwards and remain until late Summer.
