| This is another large ground beetle, favouring damp woodland. Although similar in size to Pterostichus niger, the wider pronutum (almost as wide as the elytra) makes identification of A. parellelepipedus fairly easy. Two of these beetles were found singly under logs in Lound Wood, during July 2008 and Wellow Park in June 2011. | ||
