Lithobius microps (Meinert, 1868)
A common Centipede which has a largely south Nottinghamshire distribution, although this may be due to the potential pitfalls of identifying small Lithobius Centipedes and confusion with immature specimens of the larger Lithobius species. Not wanting to continually take an endless supply of specimens, it took us several years to finally find a potential candidate for Lithobius microps.
