Uleiota planata (Linnaeus, 1761)
This is a small species and quite rare with a current national status of Nationally notable A. Adults are often found under bark during the Winter and early Spring. The one in the lower four photographs was found on a felled section of Sycamore at Sherwood Forest in mid-November 2008 and was the first recorded occurrence at Sherwood Forest NNR. Two more records have since followed.
