Trechus obtusus (Erichson, 1837)
A small and common ground beetle, found in a variety of habitats. With such a small size, T. obtusus is easily overlooked. Length 3.5-4mm. Only recently recorded from areas of Sherwood Forest, but also found at Nettleworth Manor, near Mansfield Woodhouse in September October 2008.
