Stenocorus meridianus (Linnaeus, 1758)
Another longhorn beetle, Stenocorus meridianus is a species we have seen very few times and only once at Eakring. We most recently recorded it from Wellow Park in May 2011. It belongs to the Cerambycidae family, of which there are around 60 UK species and is probably relatively common in it's occurrence across Nottinghamshire.
