Romualdius bifoveolatus (Beck, 1817)
This small (3.5mm) and inconspicuous Weevil, was recorded on a wall in Mansfield in mid-April 2015. It appears that there are no previous records of Romualdius bifoveolatus (formerly Trachyphloeus bifoveolatus) in Nottinghamshire, which is just one of a difficult group of Weevils to identify. The females are thought to be parthenogenetic.
