Quedius fuliginosus (Gravenshorst, 1802)
There are many Rove Beetles (Staphylinidae) which are extremely similar in appearance and which generally, cannot be correctly identified from photographs alone. Quedius fuliginosus is one such species and one with a widespread range. Probably found at many woodland sites across Nottinghamshire.
