Plagiodera versicolora (Laicharting, 1781)
This small and colourful leaf beetle was found on some railings below Willows in the middle of Market Warsop in late September 2008. Apparently, Plagiodera versicolora is a locally common species and sometimes found in large numbers in such situations. Crack Willow is an especially favoured foodplant for both adults and larvae. Size 3-4.5mm.
