Orthops basalis (A. Costa, 1853)
Purely on the basis of our own observations and records, this is the rarest of the three members of this Genus in Nottinghamshire. Found on Umbellifers, the only site we presently know for Orthops basalis is Wellow Park. Identification is not always easy, as this species is similar to both Orthops Kalmii and Liocoris tripustulatus.
