Orius vicinus (Ribaut, 1923)
One of a very difficult group of small plant bugs, Orius vicnus can be found on low plants across many habitats. We find them fairly regularly within the old stems of Bulrush, including this one from Eakring Flash in March 2013. The right hand photograph gives a good size comparison with the larger (3.5mm) Anthocoris nemorum (left of the photograph).
