Olibrus liquidus (Erichson, 1845)
A small beetle, which seems to have gone unrecorded in Nottinghamshire, despite records from neighbouring Derbyshire, Leicestershire and South Yorkshire. The one illustrated below, was one of three specimens found on the flowers of Hieracium sp growing on Calverton Pit Top in late May 2020. The identification of all Phalacridae is difficult and really requires having a specimen under the microscope.
