Ocys harpaloides (Audinet-Serville, 1821)
A distinctly coloured Ground Beetle, which is commonly found under bark. This is a small species, measuring around 5mm in length. Several of these beetles were found at Nettleworth Manor in November 2008 and at Meden Vale in 2013..
