Macrosteles laevis (Ribaut, 1927)
One of a very difficult group of leafhoppers to identify, this adult Macrosteles laevis was swept from an area of Heather and grass on Budby South Forest in Summer 2011. Macrosteles laevis has an extremely patchy UK distribution, affected by the difficulty in its identification.
