Macrosteles horvathi (Wagner, 1935)
Another example of one of the most difficult groups to identify, this adult Macrosteles horvathi was swept from an area of grass and scrub in Wellow Park in May 2011 and remained unidentified until dissection in March 2013. Macrosteles horvathi has an extremely sparse UK distribution, no doubt affected by the difficulty in identification.
