Lesteva longoelytrata (Goeze, 1777)
This is a small Rove Beetle beetle (Staphylinidae) originally found on a path in Sherwood Forest CP in May 2010 and then plentifully in our own Market Warsop garden in 2013, it's discovery at Sherwood represented a new species for the NNR at the time, although Lesteva longoelytrata is a generally common UK species. Length around 3.5mm.
