Idiocerus herrichi (Kirschbaum, 1868)
This is quite a large and attractively marked Leafhopper, found at Warsop Main Pit Top in March 2014. Idiocerus herrichi was formerly scarce in parts of southern UK, but seems to have increased its range in recent years. The markings on the scutellum, coupled with the white band on the pronotum and white triangle on the face, are diagnostic in this species.
