Heterotoma planicornis (Pallas, 1772)
 
A common Mirid Bug and one we had not recorded before August 2012, when we recorded them at Ollerton and then subsequently provided the Sherwood Forest NNR with a first ever record, when found on Budby South Forest. This distinctive species prefers low vegetation such as Nettles etc. A predatory species.
